Arduino, relay, fan, UV light, fabrics, bacteria culture, 3D prints, laptop.

Scrapping and streaming real-time mysophobia
tweets, and the data slowly kills the bacteria culture.

The project questions the human exceptionalism
of seeing and interacting with nature, as well as to investigate the paranoia and fear we have against microorganisms.

Fluid Cities: the air we share

Processing, ambient recordings, 2021

Ambient recordings from 18 cities around the world were collected and programmed into digital visualization through the project. You will be hearing traffics, wind, people, and the void from a random city in the world after initiating the program. Organic fluid digital drawings transform with the sound, which suggests the continuous movement of rhythm in life. The project recalls the human togetherness that persists but has been forgotten in Covid times.

Projection mapping, 2021

Microsaccades is a projection mapping project that explores the volatile figure-ground relationship using contrasting patterns and lines in abstraction. It creates a perceptual experience that investigates the nature of human visions. How do we perceive boundaries, truth, and illusions in the effect of dazzle?
